UPCOMING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY: STEM SUMMER WORKSHOPS
The Winston Opportunity Project is looking for high school and college students who are interested in science, technology, engineering, and math to volunteer at our STEM summer workshops.
Interested in using your passion for science, technology, engineering, and math to benefit your community?
In partnership with Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Winston Opportunity Project will be hosting two STEM workshops this summer - Programming with Arduino and Exploring Chemistry - for students ages nine to fifteen, and we are looking for volunteers to help facilitate activities, work with students, and ensure a positive, learning-filled experience for all participants.
With these workshops, we aim to advance equity in STEM education and provide an opportunity for all students in our community to engage in high-quality STEM projects and enrichment. By volunteering with us, you will be helping us make this goal a reality.
Workshop dates and times:
Computer programming with Arduino | July 26th - 30th | 12- 2pm
Exploring the Elements: Chemistry | August 2-6 | 12-2pm
